Roles
The parties’ privacy roles depend on the relevant processing activity. For firm-controlled client and matter information, Fairness generally processes data to provide the contracted service on the firm’s instructions, subject to applicable law and the governing agreement.
Security measures
Fairness applies technical and organisational measures intended to protect confidentiality, integrity and availability, including access controls, authentication, auditability and environment-level safeguards.
Subprocessors
Where subprocessors are used to provide infrastructure or specialised services, they are subject to appropriate contractual and security requirements. The current list is published in the Subprocessors notice.
Assistance and incidents
Fairness will provide reasonable assistance with relevant data-protection requests and will handle qualifying security incidents in accordance with applicable law and contractual commitments.
